I think that this is the coolest picture I have ever taken. I took this last night of the Eagle Nebula or M16. Visible right in the center are the Pillars of Creation. This is an intense star forming region. It is a bit grainy, and not all that well processed, but this is the first time I have got what I think of as a proper deep sky image.
